Derek Samuel Reese is an artist, recording studio owner, mixing and mastering engineer.
My love for sound began as a young child, beating on the drums to my favorite songs.
I was fascinated with sound in general and enthralled with music.
My journey started as a musician and I eventually became a songwriter.
Studio time was very expensive in those days, so I learned to be a recording and mixing engineer under the tutelage of my mentors Thomas Bakas and Mark Lineberry.
Since mastering is the final plateau, naturally I was very interested and started learning.
There is always more to learn and digest in this vast world of music.
